Violist Dana Zemtsov began her 2026 with thrilling collaborations in beautiful spaces!
She first played St George's Bristol on Feb 27 and the Wigmore Hall on Mar 1 with the Pavel Haas Quartet, performing Dvořák's String Quintet No 3 in E-flat, Op 97, B 180.
On March 8, Dana Zemtsov traveled to the Keizerzaal of Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin for Stichting Klamuze with the rest of the Arethusa Quartet, including Daniel Rowland, Floor Le Coultre, and SAI's very own Maja Bogdanovic. The program included rousing renditions of repertoire by Schubert and Korngold. Find performance photos here.
Most recently, she shared a stage with her father, Mikhail Zemtsov, and pianist father-daughter duo, Anna Fedorova and Borys Fedorov. The quartet performed Rachmaninoff, Chopin, and original compositions for Muziekkring Heerhugowaard in the Netherlands on March 15. Watch Dana's composition deep-dive video here.
